Constant connectivity, numbers pressure and ongoing change make stress and change resilience a core work skill. This 60-minute interactive session looks at the individual and organizational traits that lead to burnout, the stages of burnout, and how task and support teams can act as a buffer.
Using the Stress Doc's "Get FIT" approach, you'll gain tools for burnout prevention and recovery, psychological hardiness and "Natural Speed". You'll also learn ways to deal with loss and change, defuse self-defeating power struggles and set boundaries in a positive way.
The session closes with playful storytelling that breaks down status barriers and builds a more open, inclusive and collaborative team culture.
In times of rapid change, personal resilience and healthy humor affect productivity, well-being and how well we connect and work with others. These skills shape how supportive and collaborative a team can be.
Employees at every level, from front line to senior management, will learn to recognize stress and burnout signs and build stress, conflict and change resilience in themselves and the people they work with.
All personnel levels – from front-line employees to all levels of management will gain skills, tools, and strategies for 1) identifying stress and burnout warning signs and 2) positively developing stress, conflict, and change resilience skills in both themselves and colleagues, team members, and those they supervise/manage. Clearly, individuals, teams, and the organization as a whole benefit when a work culture is more stress resilient and focused, open and fun!
